VIETNAM ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE JOINT STOCK COMPANY AIAIVN – the owner and operator of the website trippass.ai – is committed to fully complying with the provisions of Vietnamese law on personal data protection, including: - Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection and amending, supplementing, or replacing documents (if any); - Decree No. 52/2013/ND-CP on e-commerce; - For customers who are individuals residing in countries that apply data protection regulations such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union), the Company will process personal information based on the principles of transparency, correctness of purpose, and guaranteeing the rights of data subjects in accordance with applicable laws.
The Company commits to performing personal data processing activities in accordance with the following principles: lawfulness and transparency; purpose limitation (processing for announced purposes); data minimization (collection is adequate and limited to what is necessary); accuracy and keeping data up to date; storage limitation (storing data for a period appropriate to the processing purpose); security, confidentiality, and integrity; and accountability for compliance.
The Company only collects and processes personal data upon the voluntary, explicit, and verifiable consent of the data subject, or in cases where the law permits processing without consent. Prior to giving consent, data subjects are fully informed about the types of data collected, the purpose and scope of processing, the data controller, and their rights, and they have the right to withdraw their consent at any time.
The Company classifies personal data into basic personal data and sensitive personal data in accordance with categories prescribed by law. For sensitive personal data, the Company establishes authorization policies, restricts access, and applies stricter security measures.
The Company respects and guarantees the rights of the data subject under personal data protection laws, including:
- The right to be informed of the processing of their personal data;
- The right to consent or withhold consent to the processing of their personal data;
- The right to access, view, and edit their personal data;
- The right to withdraw consent;
- The right to request the deletion of their personal data;
- The right to restrict the processing of their personal data;
- The right to request the provision of their personal data;
- The right to object to the processing of their personal data;
- The right to lodge complaints, denouncements, or initiate legal proceedings in accordance with the law;
- The right to claim damages for violations of personal data protection regulations;
- The right to self-defense in accordance with the law.
The Company applies comprehensive administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data, preventing unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. In the event of a breach of personal data protection regulations, the Company will notify the specialized personal data protection authority (Ministry of Public Security) and the data subjects within the timeline and procedures prescribed by law.
In case of cross-border transfers of personal data, the Company will prepare a personal data transfer impact assessment and fully comply with the conditions and procedures required by the laws on personal data protection.
The Company designates a department/personnel focal point in charge of personal data protection to receive and process requests and complaints from data subjects.
